Today, Dragon Ball Xenoverse comes out in Japan. Will it boost sales of the struggling PS4?

Last week, first-person shooter Far Cry 4 managed to bring PS4 sales up a couple thousand units, from it's usual range of 12-14 thousand to more than 17,000. It's not a huge boost in terms of the numbers themselves, but it is proportionally noticeable.

Gaming has just reached the summit. Ubisoft® secured the Guinness World Record for Highest Altitude Videogame Console Session after leading a successful expedition earlier this month to play Far Cry 4 in the Everest Himalayas, at an elevation of 18,569 feet (5,660 meters). Ubisoft set the record with William Cruz, a 23-year-old Provo, Utah native selected as part of a nationwide contest to be one of the first to play Far Cry 4. Cruz was selected this summer as part of Ubisofts Quest for Everest: The Gaming Journey of a Lifetime

The latest patch for Far Cry 4 has dropped and a number of fixes have been made to the game, one of which includes a rather deadly respawn at a checkpoint location, as well as the ability to play custom made maps in the co-op multiplayer mode.
